Ovarian Cancer And Liver Cirrhosis?

My grandmother has just been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. But before the cancer was found out, the doctors thought that only liver cirrhosis was ailing her.
I’m interested, how could these two possibly be related to each other?

Metastatic Ovarian Cancer. Unlike normal cells, cancers don’t like to play nice like civilians. They rebel, go against social order and ultimately, break out of the boundaries from where they originate, entering the venous blood system, spreading throughout the body. The liver just happened to be the only place that the cancer landed on and was able to metastasize onto. She probably had ovarian cancer for quite a while now, just didn’t know about it until these late stages.
EDIT: I never said she had liver cancer, I said she might have had ovarian cancer that metastasized to the liver and caused the cirrhotic symptoms. If you’re going to criticize me at least read what I said.

They didn’t say she has liver cancer. The 2 are 2 different diseases.
