When I was ten (i just turned 15 now) my mum got ovarian cancer, now we’re really scared because some blood tests didn’t come out right and there is a possibility that she has got it again! It’s really scaring me and I don’t like talking about it because it just makes her worry, which is the last thing i want to do right now! Please tell me what I should do? Is there anything that i can do that will help her?

Your odds are getting this are increased and since this is such a “sneaky” cancer you have to be more alert and watch for the symptoms without being obsessed with every sign. Watch for a lot of bloating in your belly, increase bleeding during your period, tummy pain,weight loss, and/or change in bowel habits.
Don’t worry yourself to death either tho.

My mom was just recently diagnosed with Stage 3 Ovarian Cancer at a young age. What testing can I have done to make sure I’m cancer free? Is there a blood test as well as a GYNO exam?

i am 53 good general health and trying to keep a good attitude, Dr says prognosis is good but who knows? Im scared and worried chemo will be worse than the surgery which was horiffic, i had tumours around colon and scattered thru the abd, oh btw, i had total hysterectomey ( yes ovaries too) FIVE yrs ago and still got ovarian cancer, Please tell me this is survivable. I need to hear form survivors!!!!!

We just found out Saturday that my Nana has ovarian cancer. Is there anything I can do to lessen my chances of developing ovarian cancer later on in life? And what can I do to ensure that it will be caught early if I DO develop it?

Does anybody know of any natural treatments ( health food stores, capsules, vitamins, etc) that help for ovarian cancer? anything to help from the pain, chemo, etc?

23 F here. For the past year I have had lower abdominal pelvic pain on my right side that sometimes radiated toward my right leg. In the past month the pain has gotten more frequent, occuring almost everyday, now on both sides and mainly in both legs. The feeling is a dull achey feeling and is getting more intense. I have also been burping quite a lot lately. They are the type of burps where I just feel full and make myself burp. I have recently read that these are all symptoms of ovarian cancer? I will be going to the doctor soon, so please dont give me any grief for not going. I had my reasons. I am really concerned this is cancer and have been a total mess!
