hello this is doserchris@yahoo.com and ive had diarrea for a month now and i have had abnormal bleeding from my vagina associated with bouts of dizziness should i be checked for ovarian cancer?

Ovarian cancers or ovarian neoplasms occur in the abdominal area. This cavity, the abdominal cavity, is also referred to as the peritoneal cavity because during embryogenesis the peritoneum (a sheath of tissue) lines the abdomen and all its contents. This would include the ovaries. Now, there is a complex system of nerves that innervate the abdominal viscera (the layer of fibrous like tissue that is directly ontop of the organs in the abdomen). When these nerves are in anyway irritated, which would include blunt trauma, inflammation, and even cancers in the abdomen, etc . . . then the patient will present with pain in the abdomen as well as pain elsewhere in the body (called referred pain). The pain elsewhere in the body is due to the innervation of the viscera which refers pain elsewhere, for example you have appendicitus but the pain is all over the abdomen at the early stages. Now, in cancer, particularly ovarian cancer, the tumor can spread throughout the visceral peritoneum or the parietal peritoneum. Given the location of the ovaries to the GI system, a tumor (be it benign or metastatic in nature) can physically push aside tissues and cause blockage by pinching off the passage way in the GI tract. Moreover, if it had spread to the GI, there could likely be a GI bleed or visceral peritoneal bleed, or ovarian visceral peritoneal bleed or tissue in the GI or ovary that bleeds. This could present as blood in the stool (GI bleed) or hardening in the abdomen on palpation. In almost all cases, there will be pain within the abdominal area. There are many other problems associated with this cancer type which include condition of: tenesmus (the sensation of having the need to go poop but cannot), ascites, discoloration of the stool, anorexia, anemia (due to bleeding), etc.

bladder as was asked, and then then the ultrasound was done, is it normal that they cannot see the ovaries becaseu of tumour whether small or big was blockin the view? I was told today by a profesional that most of the time it is becasue the cancerous tumour is in the way. I need this comfirmed as answers will be appreaciated, thank you

I would definitely wait until the kinks are worked out. I personally have taken care of two teenage girls with transverse myelitis who both received Gardasil. I know most, if not all, females create ovarian cysts during ovulation. However, in my case my cysts have been large, one even up to 5cm, and have a history of rupturing in which case has sent me to the ER and caused be to pass out.
While I know there isn’t much I can do for the cysts except take birth control to shrink them and pain medication, my main concern has been shifted to ovarian cancer. I know now there are a lot of commercials for cancer lnked to HPV, but is there any link of ovarian cysts leading to ovarian cancer later on.
