and blood in the urine, with stage one, can stage one be treated without surgery? becasue I HATE operations and I HATE hospitals with a passion. I will not get chemotherapy, I just want to know if it can be treated with just drugs without side affects. Any advice, because I sure need it.

my husband and i have been together for 6 years. married for 2, and we tried to start a family and with no luck i sought out a doctors opnion. and found cancer. i had regular pap’s done from age 16-20, then they told me that i could come every 3 years because they always came back clear. NOW I HAVE CANCER. AND MY SECOND OPNION TELLS ME THAT I HAVE TO HAVE A HYSTEROCTOMY!!! i don’t feel like life is worth living now. i wanted more then anything in the world to have my own children. will this pain grow stronger or lessen after i have my surgery?

It’s NEVER certain. NOTHING is certain. It all depends on severity, how long you’ve had it before it was found, how far it spread prior to treatment. Even then, it is never CERTAIN. Good Luck.

My parents think that my laptop is going to give me cancer. I couldn’t find anything about it on the internet though. (Or maybe I just didn’t look hard enough.)
I don’t think it can, because when you have a laptop in your lap it is on your thighs, not near your ovaries.

My mother was just told she has this, After 2 years of complaining of symtoms to her family doctor. He always blew it off as Menopause and never ordered any test. She went to another doctor for something totally unrelated and was sent for a battery of test. She has stage 2 cancer and is now undergoing surgery next week. I am her daughter and I’m freaking out in all directions, and trying to stay calm and collected around her. I just need any help in this department, thank you all so much.

I have recently been diagnosed with the early stages of ovarian cancer. I’m told I will have surgery and then that will be followed by chemo. I’m still not sure what to expect about everything.

I’ve had horribly irregular periods, lasting up to 2 weeks each and I’ve been put on a couple types of birth control pills, neither worked very well… Is there another explanation than the worst?
